Apple is investing heavily in the health and wellness category to further develop the Apple Watch as a health tracker. By adding new health features and improving display technology, Apple could appeal to more customers looking for a smartwatch that can help them stay healthy and fit. The Series 10 smartwatch will be available on September 20th. It will be a notable improvement over the Series 9, with a larger screen, thinner design, and sleep apnea detection. Given the increase in display size, the watch comes in new size options: 42-millimeter and 46-millimeter, which is slightly larger than the previous 41-millimeter and 45-millimeter sizesIt will also have a larger (and brighter) screen, faster charging, and new tide and depth apps. We can see that the Apple Watch Series 10 is 10% thinner than the Series 7, 8, and 9, which we imagine is a bonus for people who like to use their Apple Watch as a sleep tracker and want something lighter to wear while they sleep at night. The watch is also available in a new polished aluminum finish designed specifically for the Series 10, with a new black color and rose gold and silver aluminum available as well. The new titanium finish also makes it 20% lighter than the previous stainless steel version. The company says that the new case back also means the watch charges faster. Apple says the watch can charge to 80% in 30 minutes, just like the Pixel Watch 3. That’s a big deal, since battery life is typically one to two days, depending on how you use the watch. The watch has a new chip called the S10. Apple has also focused on audio with the Series 10, touting clearer calls and the ability to play music at louder volumes on the watch.
